What a car dealership actually needs from an invoice generator
Vehicle identity fields. A car invoice must carry the registration number, the 17-character chassis number (VIN) and the engine number. Generic generators give you a free-text "item description" box, which means no validation, no reuse and no searching old invoices by vehicle later.
Margin-scheme GST. Registered used-car dealers do not charge GST on the full sale price. Under Rule 32(5) of the CGST Rules, tax applies only to the margin, the difference between what you paid for the vehicle and what you sold it for.
