Welcome to Bill My Car ("Platform", "we", "our", "us"), accessible at https://billmycar.in. Bill My Car is a technology-based invoicing and documentation platform designed for pre-owned car dealers and private sellers to generate invoices and sale letters for used vehicle transactions.

By accessing, registering, or using Bill My Car, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years of age to use this platform.
  • You confirm that you are legally permitted to sell vehicles or act as an authorized dealer/private seller under applicable Indian laws.

2. Nature of Service

  • Bill My Car acts only as a technology facilitator.
  • We provide tools to generate invoices and sale letters based on information entered by users.
  • We do not verify the accuracy, authenticity, or legality of the data entered.
  • We do not act as a broker, agent, legal advisor, or tax consultant.

3. User Onboarding & Account Information

During onboarding, users are required to provide accurate and lawful information, including but not limited to:

  • Business / dealership name and address
  • GST number, PAN number, and contact details
  • Email address (optional)

Users are solely responsible for keeping their account details updated and accurate.

4. Customer & Vehicle Data Responsibility

  • Users may enter customer information such as Aadhaar number, contact details, and address.
  • Users may upload vehicle details and RC (Registration Certificate) images.
  • Users confirm that they have obtained lawful consent from customers before collecting or uploading such data.

Bill My Car shall not be responsible for any misuse, unauthorized collection, or unlawful processing of customer or vehicle data by users.

5. Document Generation & Legal Validity

  • Invoices and sale letters are system-generated documents.
  • Users must verify all information before printing or signing.
  • Legal enforceability depends on applicable laws, accuracy of details, required stamping (if any), and proper signatures.

Bill My Car does not guarantee legal validity or acceptance of any generated document.

6. GST & Taxation

  • GST calculations are auto-generated based on user-input values.
  • Users may edit GST percentages where applicable.
  • Users are solely responsible for compliance with GST and tax laws.

Bill My Car is not liable for incorrect tax calculations resulting from wrong inputs.

7. Your Documents & Google Drive

When you upload documents on Bill My Car — such as RC photos, invoice attachments, or sale papers — those files are saved directly into your own Google Drive, in a folder called "Bill My Car". Your files go to your account, not our servers.

  • We can only access files that Bill My Car uploads. We cannot see, open, or touch any other files in your Google Drive — your personal photos, emails, or anything else are completely private.
  • Your uploaded files are entirely yours. You can view, download, or delete them directly from Google Drive on your phone or computer at any time.
  • We save a secure key on our end so you don't have to approve Google access every time you upload a file. This key is only used for uploads and is never shared with anyone.
  • If you want to disconnect Bill My Car from your Google Drive, go to your Google Account → Apps with access and remove Bill My Car. Your existing files will stay in your Drive — this only stops future uploads.
  • Files stored in your Google Drive are covered by Google's Terms of Service. Bill My Car is not responsible for how Google manages or stores those files.

8. Data Storage & Security

  • Your invoice records and dealer profile are stored in a secure database.
  • Uploaded documents are stored in your personal Google Drive account.
  • We take reasonable steps to keep your data safe, but no system is 100% secure.

If a data breach or loss occurs due to a failure at Google, our database provider, or any other outside service we rely on, Bill My Car and its owner shall not be held responsible or liable. These services operate under their own security standards which are outside our control.

9. User Account Security

  • Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
  • Strong passwords are strongly recommended.

Bill My Car shall not be liable for losses arising due to weak passwords, shared credentials, or user negligence.

10. Prohibited Use

Users agree not to:

  • Upload false, misleading, or unlawful information
  • Use the platform for fraudulent or illegal vehicle transactions
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the platform or other user data

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these terms.

11. Account Suspension & Termination

Bill My Car reserves the right to:

  • Suspend or terminate accounts without prior notice
  • Restrict access in case of misuse, fraud, or legal non-compliance

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Bill My Car shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Including loss of data, business, revenue, or legal disputes arising from document usage

Use of the platform is entirely at the user's own risk.

13. Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bill My Car and its owner against any claims, penalties, losses, or legal actions arising from:

  • Incorrect data entry
  • Unauthorized data collection
  • Violation of applicable laws

14. Modifications to Service or Terms

We may modify these Terms & Conditions at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in India.
